Starting the server

The scripts for running the server are in $SXGENERAL_DIR/bin/. Make symbolic links from your  sxadmin/bin/ directory to:
startsx perl script, starts restartsx
restartsx csh script, starts the server
monitorsx takes care of defunc processes
killsx kills the server

The server is started by starting first the port daemon and then the server:
sxPortDaemon
startsx $SX
The log file of the port daemon you will find in $SXPortDaemon, the log file dbglog of the server is in $SX_CLIENT_DIR/log/. $SX is the SX archive you want to use, e.g. edr, atlas, or test. You can add others to the .sxrc file in your (sxadmin) home directory.
