SDSS SCIENCE ARCHIVE DOWNLOADS

The SDSS CommandLine interface (sdssCL) is downloadable from here as well as the
SDSS Query Tool and sdssTools package. The sxCL is not an officially supported
sdss product and was written in python by Tamas Budavari. See its
documentation on how to use it and more details.


The SDSS Query Tool (sdssQT) is a Tcl/Tk application that allows users to
submit queries written in SXQL (SDSS eXtended Query Language), an SQL-like
language, to the SDSS Catalog Archive Server (the SDSS Catalog Archive is also
known as the SDSS Science Archive).

The sdssTools package is a collection of analysis tools that may be used to
process output from SDSS queries.   In particular, it contains sxAsciiEcho -
which can be used to convert binary output to ASCII, and sxFitsEcho - which
can be used to write binary or ASCII output out as a FITS table.


The SDSS Query Tool and sdssTools latest version (v2.3.15) is available in the
"latest" directory (same as v2_3_15).
